Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
